Sean Manuel
Title: Theatre Artist (Painter/Props/Design)
Profession: Arts and Entertainment
I have been able to work in many facets of theatre, from props to scenes. My passion for painting also allows me to integrate different parts of my life into the work that I do, which makes it enjoyable and fun, as well as makes the quality of my work a lot higher than if I was not constantly doing something that I love.
EDUCATION | With an undergraduate degree from Cornell College in theatre and a Master's in Scenic Design from Boston University.
HOW TO GET STARTED | Some colleges offer specific degrees within theatre field, this is what I did. It is also important to build a resume with volunteer work behind the scenes and INTERNSHIPS, which can be found at most major theatres/scene shops and in industry specific publications.
