Title: Blogger
Profession: Editorial/Writing
Blogger for Lemondrop.com, The Animal Advocates, TubeFilter and other sites. I write a lot. I write about everything that's going on with me and sometimes about what's going on with other people.
EDUCATION | Associates Degree.
HOW TO GET STARTED | Don't write like everyone else. It may feel silly but really be true to yourself and how you actually speak in person. Too many bloggers sound alike. Like they all went to the same blogging school with the same voice. Really work on letting your true personality and voice come through your writing.
MUST HAVE TRAITS | You definitely need to be creative, analytical, and passionate about writing and have a lot to say. You have to have an opinion on just about everything.
beginnings
how I got started | I had a blog on journalspace.com (a site that doesn't exist anymore) called "The Meanest Girl On Earth" It was really silly and I didn't take it too seriously, but I wrote everyday, sometimes several times a day. My friend forwarded the link to my blog to an editor at aol.com and she asked me to write a few articles. I've been writing for her and other sites ever since.

inspiration
why this job?| I started my first diary when I was literally 6 years old and I've been writing ever since. I'm passionate about writing. I love it. I would write everyday, weather I got paid to do it or not. I write because I have to. It's in my soul.

love
why I love this job!| I love writing. I love going to coffee shops and diners and just sitting and writing and looking at people and listening to their conversations. I find a lot of inspiration in the mundane.

work
my typical day| I get up around 7am and watch Good Morning America and CNN and make coffee, check Facebook and Twitter, and write. Then I basically repeat those actions obsessively until the sun goes down.

challenges
what they are | It doesn't pay a lot and you have to really hustle to get as many writing gigs as you can to make ends meet. If you have a better idea, let me know.

upside
all about growth | I'm not sure what the growth is other than I want to write more and more and get paid to write. I haven't figured it out yet. If you have advice I'd love to hear it.
