I help people better their lives and handle the banana peels they keep flipping on. I help them achieve their goals and interact with others so they are successful in their personal and business relationships and they're able to enjoy their families.

EDUCATION | I trained within the Scientology organization. It's really the equivalent to a PhD.

HOW TO GET STARTED | This is the kind of work in which you definitely want to have a lot of interest in people. You have to be patient and really have the desire to help people a lot. This really takes a dedicated training but it's very interesting because while you're learning about people and how to handle other people you can't help but learn a lot about yourself.

MUST HAVE TRAITS | Patience, people person, perceptive - that's something that develops more and more as you do this activity. You have to be someone who wants to study human beings.

how I got started | I wanted to know how to help people effectively. I studied up in a lot of different therapies and ideologies and came across Scientology. This is the most effective of everything I studied.

why this job?| I started out to be a visual artist, painting and drawing. As a career though, I personally felt a real need to understand people, the psyche, what makes people tick and what the meaning of life is.

why I love this job!| Firstly, the wins of my public and the successes of my clients. I love what I've done that translates into their lives so they can now live a better, happier life. I'm making a difference in this world by achieving better lives for other people. There's more meaning. I feel like, in my own corner, I'm making a change in the world. Lastly, my own enlightenment. It's very rewarding for me and gives me a real sense of accomplishment. I benefit from working with others, helping others and working with the knowledge all the time.

my typical day| Get together with someone and we have a session. What makes Scientology sessions different from other therapies is that I can actually work a whole day with someone so we really make a lot of progress. We're actually going in and getting in what they need. I don't end the session until the person is feeling and doing better. I never leave them in the middle of doing badly. Another part of day is going to chamber of commerce meetings to market myself and meet people. It's always fun to meet people.

what they are | People are a huge variable; they're full of surprises. Helping people can be a tremendous challenge because people can be very upset on that subject (helping). They've had failed help in the past or problems with help. Anyone who is helping people has the challenge of people allowing them to help.

all about growth | There's always growth because everybody on this planet needs us. There are so many areas you can help a person in - their personal life, their family, their business, etc. I have worked with people on all aspects of their lives. There are higher levels of training that you can accomplish; levels you can reach in the training. You can also give seminars and increase your public.
