About the Presenter
Maria Ross has over 15 years experience in all aspects of marketing, including branding, advertising, field marketing, lead generation, events, messaging, press and analyst relations and communication planning. She is also a published lifestyle writer, wine columnist and actress. Her unique creative talents combined with her business savvy on both the client and agency side enable her to see the whole picture in an innovative way. Prior to launching her own consultancy, Maria was Director of Corporate Marketing at Savvion, a leader in Business Process Management (BPM) software. Previous to that, Maria was Director of Global Campaigns for Business Objects (now part of SAP). She has held senior marketing roles at various Internet and technology companies, as well as done consumer marketing and branding work at Discovery Communications and Young & Laramore Advertising. Early in her career, Maria was a change management consultant for Accenture, where she worked with Fortune 1000 clients on training, communications, and process/organizational redesign. Maria received a B.S in Marketing, with a minor in Spanish from Indiana University, Bloomington.
